The Wireless Plug In Chime works just as it should, but the sound doorbell sound is not that pleasant. The sound is not a chime or a traditional doorbell sound. I can't exactly describe it, but it sounds institutional -- like a digitally-created imitation of a doorbell. Our previous chime sounded much warmer and more pleasant, but it wouldn't work with the Wireless Button we bought at The Doorbell Factory (and which we absolutely love). So it's a trade off -- a great button that works in the space for our old doorbell and a not-so-great sounding chime.

The battery operated door bell and the plug in chimes are easy to install and work as advertised. However, for the screw-mounted option (there is also a stick-on option) instead of just saying "remove material from the screw holes," it would be more helpful to tell the used her or she will need to drill out the plastic where the screw holes should go on the mounting plate. Bettter yet, have pop out material instead.

I have 2 in my home already, they are ok. But at times will chime on their own. There is a walk around that. I just have not figured that out yet.But so far I like the fact they are just plug and play. No wiring.
