Yes. Our Site is run on a Protected platform and is 100% secure. All credit card information is removed from our system automatically after 30 days. We have very advanced systems in place that protect our customers.

What will you do with my personal information?
The Doorbell Factory will not share, sell or lease any information collected from its customers. This includes but is not limited to name, address, email, phone number, or demographic information. We consider your right to privacy and the security of your personal information to be a priority.

Some instances when The Doorbell Factory may request information from you are: registering on doorbellfactory.com, placing an order, requesting order status information, technical support or customer service assistance. We do not keep any credit card information on file after your purchase.

How do I replace my old doorbell button?
As one of the simplest of home repairs, replacing your old doorbell button is about as headache free as they come. Here’s what you’ll need to get started.

  1. Screwdriver
  2. Wire stripper
  3. Pliers
  4. Your new doorbell button.

First: find the electrical breaker that powers the doorbell system and switch it off.

Next, remove the screws from the old doorbell cover and gently pull it away from the wall.

Remove the two wires coming out from the wall from the two screws on the back of the old button. Check to see if the exposed parts of the wires are clean and not brittle. If not, simply reattach the wires to the two screws on your new doorbell button. If the wires look dirty, rusted or brittle, cut the exposed part off and strip approximately ½ inch of each wire and then attach to the screws. It doesn’t matter which wire goes on which screw.

See? I told you this was simple! Lastly, screw the new doorbell cover to the wall and you’re done!

Yes we ship to Canada. Priority mail for 1 pound to Canada is about $12.95.

Yes, we ship to Australia. Rates vary.

Do you carry any products that will accommodate multiple doorbells with different chime sounds for each separate doorbell?
We currently do not carry any products that will accommodate multiple doorbells providing different sounds for each chime.

Do you have anything that will provide additional transmission range?
Our chime extenders provide additional transmission range up to 100-400 feet, depending on the extender you chooce. The chime extender is a unit that is activated when your exsisting chime sounds. There are two parts to the chime extender. The first unit is placed next to your exsisting chime. The second unit is placed anywhere from 100-400 feet away from the first unit, depending on the product you purchase.

We currently have two chime extenders.

  1. Plug In Chime Extender - up to 100 feet of additional transmission range
  2. Wireless Outdoor Chime Extender - up to 400 feet of additional transmission range

What kind of doorbell will work with a wireless chime?
Any wireless chime on our website will work with any of the wireless doorbells on our website. We cannot guarantee that our wireless units will work with your existing unit.

Do you have any doorbells that mount flush to the wall?
The majority of the items on our website do not mount flush to the wall. We do have a few surface mount products that can be found by going to the left menu on our website and clicking Doorbells, then clicking Surface Mount Doorbells.

Do you make custom doorbells?
No, we do not make custom doorbells at this time.

Do you have any chime covers to cover an existing chime?
Yes, we carry one product that is a chime cover for a chime.

What is the voltage of the transfomers you sell?
Our transformers are all 16 volt, but they will work with 12-16 volt doorbells. We do not carry any transformers under 12 volt.
